Sydney,
13 March 2007: The
sound of wedding bells rang out at Hooters restaurant in Parramatta on Saturday
as two patrons exchanged vows on the balcony in front of a line up of the world
famous Hooters Girls.
Anthony Richardson, 32 and Jean Sun, 27, who had been planning
their big day since October last year decided to get married at Hooters because “….we
wanted a wedding that no one would forget and we love Hooters so we thought why
not? it would be great venue with big novelty factor for our guests and ourselves” said
bridegroom Anthony.
The bride arrived at noon in a yellow 1964 Hot Rod, wearing
a one-of-a-kind ‘I
got married at Hooters’ tank top presented by her Hooters Girls attendants
Yolande, Carolyn, Gabrielle, Adriana and Britt.
“It was a pleasure to host their wedding at Hooters Parramatta. We have
come to know the newlyweds over the last few months who obviously love a bit
of fun and are a fantastic couple. We wish them well and hope they’ll come
and visit us after their honeymoon,” said Morney Schlebusch, general manager
of Hooters Parramatta.

in 2006 after an initial failed attempt by businessman Rodney Adler some 10 years
ago. Hooters Parramatta joins more than 430 locations worldwide and over 20 international

Beach on the Gold Coast on Monday 23rd April 2007 with Hooters Cronulla in July
