Hooters Parramatta, Hooters flagship restaurant kicks
off its 2007 fundraising program with an action packed weekend of events planned
to raise money for its charitable partner The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
From 11am this Friday and Saturday all car owners at Envirowash Car Wash Rose
Hill (behind Hooters Parramatta) will be giving all patrons for a small donation
of $2, the chance to win a dry chamois wash by the Hooters Girls, or a host of
other prizes including a night at the Mercure Hotel Parramatta. The two day event
will be held as part of the Australian Car Wash Association’s ‘Wash
and Help Week’ where members from around Australia donate the total revenue
from one car wash service bay to the National Heart Foundation in aid of National
Heart Week (29 April to 5 May 2007).
On Sunday the fun continues from 2pm when Hooters Parramatta will host the Hooters
Corvette Car Show in partnership with the NSW Corvettes Unlimited Car Club. This
first annual event will be held in the Hooters car park and will display up to
forty of Australia’s best Corvette’s, all of which have been in production
for over 50 years. For a small donation to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead
photographs can be taken with the world famous Hooters Girls and the first true
American sports car.
Hooters, the globally recognised and world renowned bar and restaurant chain
opened Hooters Parramatta, NSW in July 2006 and Hooters Mermaid Beach, QLD last
Monday (23 April) and will open restaurants in Cronulla, Penrith and Auckland
New Zealand by the end of 2007. Hooters Parramatta is located at 132 James Ruse
