The globally recognised and renowned Hooters bar and restaurant chain today
announced that it will launch in Australia in the coming months, with NSW locations
set to open in Parramatta in July and Cronulla in December.
A classic sports-themed bar and casual dining restaurant for the whole family
to enjoy, Hooters Australia will join more than 400 locations world-wide and
will become part of one of the most successful restaurant chains ever created.
Hooters Australia is set to offer consumers a unique experience that combines
a lively bar and open kitchen, rocking tunes, non-stop sports action on large
screen TVs and of course delicious, quality food - all delivered by the world
famous Hooters Girls.
"Australia just got a little more attractive and a lot more
fun – if
that was possible!" said Dah Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Hooters Australia.
"We believe that the winning philosophy behind the globally successful Hooters
brand of good food, cold beer, plenty of sports action and gorgeous Hooters Girls
will be a hit in the Australian market."
At the heart of the Hooters experience are the sporty and
sexy Hooters Girls, who proudly wear the famous white singlet and orange running
shorts – a
uniform that has remained unchanged for over 20 years.
The Australian Hooters Girls will join more than 20,000 Hooters Girls worldwide
who enjoy global prestige and one of the most exciting career development opportunities
in the hospitality industry, appearing on trading cards, calendars (the second
biggest selling in the USA after the Sports Illustrated Calendar), magazines,
television, sporting events, community gatherings and at a variety of national
and local charity events.
Hooters locations across Australia will serve a wide range of cold beer, popular
spirits and quality wines, along withtheir signature spicy buffalo chicken wings,
burgers, seafood, fresh green salads, aged grain fed steaks and tangy BBQ ribs.
Hooters Parramatta, located at 132 James Ruse Drive (corner of Hassall Street
and opposite Rose Hill Race Course) will celebrate their grand opening on July
14 2006with the Cronulla location set to open in December 2006 at 3-7 The Kingsway.
There are also plans to expand to the Gold Coast and two other locations around
greater Sydney in 2007, with other locations throughout Australia in the near
future.
